Translation:
On the other side, both Lord Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, stationed on a great chariot drawn by white horses, sounded their transcendental conchshells.
Import:
1) The Supreme Lord was seated controlling the reins of horses, similarly the Supreme Lord controls our indriyas(senses) and takes us to the path of victory, the chariot is ones material body, Arjuna is the jivatma in the sharira(body) and the Lord is the paramatma.
2) If one considers oneself as subordinate to the Supreme Lord; then the Supreme Lord out of his causeless mercy becomes subordinate to us. This is the unique special quality of the Supreme Lord Vishnu which is not visible in the common wordly men.
3) Arjuna was seated behind Krishna as every jivatma is subordinate to Paramatma.
4) Ma = Mahalakshmi
Dhava = Supporter of her.
When the glance of the Goddess of Fortune Lakshmi is obtained; victory and auspiciousness is assured.
